Trenton Bliss had a hat trick Friday and Alec Broetzman added two goals. Alex Smith, Logan Ganie, Brenden Datema, and Tommy Parrottino also scored for the Huskies in the series. Tech finished the regular season with a 19-15-3 overall record and 14-12-2-0 mark in the WCHA. The Huskies are the No. 6 seed in the WCHA Playoffs and return to the Berry Events Center to play NMU for a best-of-three first-round series on Friday, Saturday, and if necessary, Sunday. Fans looking for tickets should contact the SDC Ticket Office at 906-487-2073 before Tuesday at 5 p.m. to get on Tech's allotment list.

MEN'S BASKETBALL

Tech knocked down 18-for-20 from the three-point line and got 32 points from Kyle Monroe, 16 from Dawson Bilski, 14 from Owen White, and 11 from Isaac Appleby. Tech is 20-8 overall and is the No. 3 seed in the GLIAC Tournament after a 14-6 conference record. The Huskies host Saginaw Valley State at the SDC Gym Tuesday at 6 p.m. to open the postseason.

WOMEN'S BASKETBALL

The Black and Gold finished the regular season with an 11-16 record and are the No. 7 seed in the conference tournament after a 9-11 record. Tech travels to No. 2 seed Grand Valley State for a 6 p.m. quarterfinal game on Tuesday.

HUSKIES LEND A PAW

This year's community outreach initiative for Michigan Tech Athletics is the Huskies Lend a Paw to support Big Brothers Big Sisters - UP Kids. Big Brothers Big Sisters (BBBS) seeks to change the lives of children facing adversity - for the better, forever. BBBS programs help children realize their full potential and build their futures by providing strong and enduring, professionally supported, one-to-one relationships.

For more information or a donation contact Maggie Munch BBBS Program Director at bbbs@upkids.com or 906-487-9855.
