Michigan Tech Recreation Spring 2020 Camp Registration Is Open

HOUGHTON, Mich. – Michigan Tech Recreation has announced that a variety of camps, clinics, and tournaments for boys and girls interested in basketball, volleyball, football, and tennis will be offered for Spring 2020. Click here to sign up for one of the following camps and clinics offered today.

Michigan Tech Volleyball will host a Little Huskies Spring Camp for participants in grades 2-6, with emphasis placed on volleyball fundamentals, held on April 2-3. Boys and girls' clinics will also be held by the Michigan Tech Volleyball team, with position-specific clinics for girls in grades 9-12, and an introductory clinic for boys in grades 8-12. 

The Michigan Tech Men's Basketball team will host a Little Huskies Spring Camp on April 20-23. Open to boys in grades 2-6, the aim of the Little Huskies Spring Camp is to introduce those to basketball through team play and individual skill development with coaching from Michigan Tech Men's Basketball student-athletes and coaches.

The Michigan Tech Women's Basketball team will also host a Little Huskies Spring Clinic on April 13-16. Open to those in grades 2-5, the Little Huskies Spring League will focus on fundamental basketball skills for participants of all experience levels, and will feature fun games against fellow campers with coaching from members of the Michigan Tech Women's Basketball team and coaching staff.

The Men's and Women's Basketball teams will also host the Doghouse Classic 3-on-3 Basketball Tournament once again from inside the Multipurpose Gym. This special event will be held on Aprill 11, and will include divisions for all ages. The goal is to host a boys' and girls' division for grade levels 4-8, JV and Varsity, as well we men's and women's open divisions. Don't miss out on an excellent opportunity to have some fun playing 3v3 basketball in a friendly, competitive environment. The deadline to register is March 30.

In addition, Michigan Tech Football will host two Little Huskies Spring Camp sessions on April 18 and April 25 from inside the SDC Multipurpose Gym. Open to all participants in grades 4-6, members of the Michigan Tech Football team and coaching staff will teach introductory offensive and defensive football skills to all who participate.

Finally, Michigan Tech Tennis will be offering youth lessons for boys and girls of ages 5-7, 8-10, and 11-17 from March 31-April 28. From beginners to more experienced players, participants will be taught a variety of skills by members of the Michigan Tech Men's and Women's Tennis teams.
