HOCKEY
No. 16 Bowling Green took 5 out of 6 WCHA points over No. 17 Michigan Tech over the weekend at the MacInnes Student Ice Arena. The Falcons won 3-2 Friday and the two teams tied 2-2 Saturday with BGSU scoring in the 3 on 3 overtime. Parker Saretsky and Seamus Donohue scored Friday. Raymond Brice and Brian Halonen found the back of the net Saturday. The Huskies travel to Bemidji State this weekend for the only meeting of the season with the Beavers. The puck drops at 8:07 p.m. Friday and 7:07 p.m. Saturday at the Sanford Center.

WOMEN'S BASKETBALL
Tech split its road weekend with an 81-74 loss at Parkside Thursday and 75-55 win at Purdue Northwest Saturday. Four players averaged in double figures with Hannah Hobson (18.5), Cassidy Trotter (17), Ellie Mackay (12.5), and Abbie Botz (11) leading the offensive charge. The Huskies are 6-8 overall and 4-3 in the GLIAC and host Lake Superior State Thursday and Ferris State Saturday in the first of two meetings with both teams this season.

MEN'S BASKETBALL
The Huskies split their weekend on the road, falling 69-56 at Parkside Thursday and defeating Purdue Northwest 84-77 Saturday. Kyle Monroe (19), Owen White (17.5), and Dawson Bilski (10.5) averaged in double figures on the weekend. Tech is now 11-4 overall and 5-2 in the GLIAC and returns to the SDC Gym against Lake Superior State Thursday and Ferris State Saturday.

NORDIC SKIING
The Huskies get back to racing this weekend at the CCSA Mt. Itasca Invitational in Coleraine, Minnesota. The teams will race in a skate distance race Saturday and classic distance race on Sunday.



HUSKIES LEND A PAW

This year's community outreach initiative for Michigan Tech Athletics is the Huskies Lend a Paw to support Big Brothers Big Sisters - UP Kids. Big Brothers Big Sisters (BBBS) seeks to change the lives of children facing adversity - for the better, forever. BBBS programs help children realize their full potential and build their futures by providing strong and enduring, professionally supported, one-to-one relationships.
