Tech Athletics Announces Special Ticket Promotions for Wayne State and Ashland Doubleheaders

HOUGHTON, Mich. – The Michigan Tech Athletics Department is pleased to announce some special ticket and concessions promotions for this week's basketball doubleheaders against Wayne State and Ashland on Thursday and Saturday.

The Thursday January 2 game against Wayne State will be a "Dollar Day". Fans can purchase a youth general admission ticket for $5 and get an adult general admission ticket for $1. In addition, season ticket holders can invite a friend and get a free ticket per each season ticket.

Also, that evening, hotdogs, pop, and candy can all be purchased at the concession stand for just $1 each. Fans can get both a coffee and cookie at Coaches Corner for just $1 as well. The women's game against the Warriors tips-off at 5:30 p.m. followed by the men's game at 7:30 p.m. eastern time.

On Saturday against Ashland, it will be a basketball Family Day at the SDC Gym. Fans can purchase a four pack of tickets which comes with four hotdogs, four popcorns, and four pops for $24. The women's game gets underway at 1 p.m. followed by the men's contest with the Eagles at 3 p.m.

The Tech men and women are both 2-1 in the GLIAC as the teams get set to start the new year. Tickets for both doubleheaders can be purchased by going to buyhuskiestickets.com.
