Tech Tennis to Host Reunion and Alumni Tournament (Aug. 1-3)

HOUGHTON, Mich. - The Michigan Tech tennis program will be hosting a reunion the weekend of August 1-3 on the Tech campus. It's an opportunity for former Huskies to return to campus to reunite with old teammates, friends, and fans.

An alumni tournament, which is free and open to the public, is scheduled for 1 p.m. Saturday August 3rd at the Gates Tennis Center. The tennis reunion is being held in conjunction with Michigan Tech's annual Alumni Reunion.

The tennis reunion will feature three days of events with the complete schedule and link to the registration page for alumni to sign up below. The complete Michigan Tech Alumni Reunion Weekend schedule of events can be viewed at www.mtu.edu/reunion.

Cost is $40 for alumni which includes the at the reception at Continental Fire Company and a T-shirt. $25 for Guests includes the reception at the Continental Fire Company.

9:00 am                       Keweenaw Alumni & Friends Chapter 5K Run/Walk for Scholarships - Tech Trails Trailhead across from the Sherman field on Sharon Ave (This raises money for local students to attend Michigan Tech) Registration opens at 7:30 am, Walk at 8:30 am, Run at 9:30 am. ($15 in advance or $20 race day)**

7:00 pm                       Tennis & Women's Basketball Reception - Continental Fire Company, Downtown Houghton
