Tim Watters

One of the finest defenseman to ever play at Michigan Tech, Tim Watters' playing career spanned three seasons with the Huskies (1977-79, 80-81).

He played in 111 total games and recorded 93 points on 19 goals and 74 assists.

His final season, he earned First-Team All-America honors and helped the Huskies to a third-place finish in the NCAA Championships.

Watters went on to play 13 years in the National Hockey League, including seven with the Winnipeg Jets and six with the Los Angeles Kings. He then spent one year as an assistant coach with the Boston Bruins and then became the head coach of the Michigan Tech Huskies in 1996 and retired in 2000.
