Jilann Brunett

Jilann O. Brunett is one of five former athletes being inducted into the Hall of Fame. Brunett attended Michigan Tech from 1960 to 1964 and excelled as a four-year letter winner on the rifle team. She held 17 national records during her career, winning the National Women's Small Bore Rifle Championship in 1963.

In 1964 Burnett had the best shooting average on the team for the fourth straight year (293.1). She was the NRA Sectional Runner-up with a score of 291 and won the small bore four position metallic sight championship and the small bore any position championship. She became the first woman elected to membership into Michigan Tech's Varsity Club, and was team captain during her junior and senior years.
