Jamie Ram

Jamie Ram wore a Tech hockey sweater from 1990-94 and was one of the best goaltenders to ever play at Michigan Tech. He set the school records for saves (3,336) and games played (115) during his four-year career. 

The Scarborough, Ontario, native is one of only five players in school history with a career saves percentage of .900 or better—a list that includes other Michigan Tech Hall of Famers Tony Esposito, Garry Bauman and Jim Warden. Ram was named First Team All-American in both 1993 and 1994 and was a two-time All-Western Collegiate Hockey Association First Team selection. He was a finalist for the Hobey Baker Award in 1994. 

After his time as a Husky, Ram compiled a nine-year professional hockey career that included an appearance with the NHL’s New York Rangers. 

Ram currently resides in Scottsdale, Ariz.
