Gordon McRae

One of the greatest goaltenders to ever play at Michigan Tech, Gordon McRae donned the Huskies jersey from 1967-70. He is the third winningest goaltender in Michigan Tech history and finished his three-year career with a record of 44-22-5 to go with a 3.11 goals against average and an .896 saves percentage.

McRae helped the Huskies to the Western Collegiate Hockey Assocation title in 1968-69 and also to a fourth-place NCAA finish in 1969-70. He today continues to hold the single-season school record for best saves percentage in a season (.926, 1967-68) and was a member of the Great Lakes Invitational All-Tournament Team in both 1967 and 1968.

McRae went on to play five seasons in the National Hockey League for the Toronto Maple Leafs.

Gordon currently resides in Centennial, Colorado.
