Don Daavettila

Don Daavettila has been a supporter of Michigan Tech athletic programs for nearly 40 years.
He began his career as a professor of physics at MTU in 1964 and for more than 30 years has volunteered as the time keeper and manager of office officials for Michigan Tech hockey games.
Daavettila can be found at virtually all home athletic events and was awarded an honorary "M" at the Varsity Awards Banquet in 2002.
An extraordinary athlete himself, Daavettila was honored with the Intramural Distinguished Athlete award in 1996-97.
