A legendary figure at Michigan Tech for parts of three decades, Dick ElRite is well known for many aspects of his career.
Tops on the list is his work as the head coach of the wrestling team at Michigan Tech for 15 seasons (1965-80).
He earned Northern Intercollegiate Conference Coach of the Year honors in 1975-76.
ElRite also served as an assistant football coach from 1965-70 and was Michigan Tech's Intramural Director from 1965 until his retirement in 1988
