Dave Paris was a three-year letterman for the football team from 1966-68. The offensive lineman was a walk-on to the team in 1965 and went on to earn All-Northern Intercollegiate Conference honors as a junior. He was also named most valuable player and most improved player during his career.

After graduation, Paris stayed at MTU as a graduate assistant football coach until he gained a master’s in civil engineering in 1970. Paris is a long-time member of the Huskies’ Club and a member of MTU’s Founders Society and President’s Club.
