Damian Rhodes
Former goaltender Damian Rhodes recorded a strong career as a Husky before playing in the National Hockey League for 12 seasons. Rhodes played in 91 career games at Tech and finished third on the school’s all-time saves list (3,123). As a junior in 1988-89, he set a then-school record for saves in a season (1,301). Rhodes went on to an extensive NHL career, beginning with the Toronto Maple Leafs in 1990. After six seasons there, he played four seasons in Ottawa (1996-99) and three more in Atlanta (1999-2002). His NHL totals are 309 games played with a 2.84 goals against average, a .899 saves percentage, and 7,285 career saves. Rhodes now resides in Scottsdale, Ariz. |
