Chris St. Louis

Chris St. Louis was instrumental in establishing track and field as a varsity women's sport at Michigan Tech in 1983-84.

She participated in the sport during the 1983-84 and 1984-85 seasons and earned the Rex Benoit Award was the team's most valuable athlete both years.

At the time of her graduation, St. Louis held ten indoor and outdoor records, and she still today is part of the school record-holding 400- and 1,600-meter relay teams.

She earned the prestigious Raymond L. Smith Award as MTU's top senior female student-athlete in 1985.
