Bio

Zach Nicholas was named the Assistant Director of Athletic Marketing and Communication in July 2021. In his role, Nicholas serves as the primary media contact for soccer, Nordic skiing, and track & field. He also assists the Director of Advertising Sales with the execution of partnership contracts and artwork.

Nicholas worked with Michigan Tech Athletics for three years as an Athletic Communications Intern, where he assisted with communication efforts, marketing, and graphic design. He has also helped maintain social media, worked as part of the promotional team, compiled statistics during home events, and helped plan and organize various events.

Nicholas, a native of South Range, Mich., completed his Bachelor’s Degree in Scientific and Technical Communication from Michigan Tech in 2019. Outside of interning with Tech Athletics during his time in college, he enjoyed playing broomball, attending athletic events, and meeting new friends.

Nicholas has been a Huskies’ supporter his entire life. He is an avid basketball and football fan and enjoys being outdoors with friends and family, seeing new places, and trying new activities.
