The women will take to the start line first at 10 a.m., with the men to follow at 10:45 a.m. Grand Valley State looks to repeat as GLIAC Champions, as the women have won 21st straight conference titles while the men have won 20th straight. GVSU also saw its coaching staff earn GLIAC Coaching Staff of the Year accolades on the men's side while tying with Wayne State on the women's side.

The conference meet showcases three teams among the top-30 teams nationally on both sides. Grand Valley State has the top-ranked women's team in the country, while the men are second through the regular season. Wayne State's women are ranked 27th, with the Warrior men ranked 25th. Lastly, Saginaw Valley's women's team enters the postseason ranked 28th nationally, while the men's squad is ranked 24th.

Last Time Out
The Huskies completed the regular season at the Lewis Crossover on Oct. 7, where both teams placed 13th in one of the most competitive Division II races of the season. The women's field showcased 33 teams, with 10 teams within the top-30 nationally. The men's field had similar credibility, with 25 teams total and eight teams within the top-30 in the nation.

Michigan Tech found success from Hannah Loughlin and Sam Lange, who were the low-sticks on the day. Loughlin dipped under 22 minutes for the first time in her career, with her time of 21:47.9 placing her 24th overall. Lange paced the 8k course in under 25 minutes, posting a time of 24:54.0 to place 41st overall.

The women's team has seen consistent results from first-year student-athletes Sophia Rhein and Hailee Zimpel, who have been the No. 2 and No. 3 runners for Tech this season.

The duo posted personal-bests at the Lewis Crossover, running 22:54.9 and 23:06.2, respectively.

Anabel Needham and Ingrid Halverson rounded out the Black & Gold's top-five, running 23:11.1 and 23:23.5.

The men of Michigan Tech saw its top-five all run under 25:30 on a wicked-fast day in Romeoville, Illinois.
