Tech Trails Project Awarded Grant From Great Lakes Sports Commission

The Great Lakes Sports Commission (GLSC) has awarded $150,000 in grant funding for infrastructure development at the Tech Trails. The construction of a multi-functional, community lodge at the trailhead has been a goal of Michigan Tech Director of Athletics, Suzanne Sanregret.

Kristina Owen has been named the head coach of the Michigan Tech men's and women's cross country and track and field teams athletic director Suzanne Sanregret announced Monday, (Aug. 17).
GLIAC suspends competition until January 1

Following a thorough evaluation of all COVID-19 risks and safety protocols, and numerous meetings involving various GLIAC governance groups, the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Council of Presidents and Chancellors voted unanimously on Tuesday, Aug. 11, to suspend all sports competition until Jan. 1, 2021.
