Muck Run Set for Nov. 1 at Tech Trails
HOUGHTON, Mich. – Michigan Tech is holding its annual Muck Run on Saturday, November 1 at 10 a.m. at the Tech Trails. The 5-kilometer trail race through mud, muck, mire, and maybe even snow, benefits both the men's and women's cross country teams.
Students and Upper Peninsula Road Runners Club members can preregister for $14. Game day registration is $16. Cost for general public is $16 for preregistration and $20 on race day. Team registration is $14 per runner for preregistration and $16 per runner on race day. Teams must have a minimum of four runners and forms must be sent together.
T-shirts are included with registration for the first 60 registrants.
Awards will be given to the top male and female overall finishes and top three in each age group. There is also an award for the best costume and door prizes after the race.
