Football Fans Can Watch Volleyball For Free This Weekend

HOUGHTON, Mich. – Michigan Tech football fans can take in both volleyball matches FREE this weekend with their football game ticket.

Take your ticket (general, reserved, or VIP) to the SDC Ticket Office before Friday's 5 p.m. volleyball match and/or Saturday's 4 p.m. match and get free admission to watch the Huskies take on Saginaw Valley State and Lake Superior State.

Volleyball has won four in a row and six of its last seven to position itself for a possible home GLIAC Tournament match next week. The Huskies need all the support they can get in the final matches of the regular season. SVSU is 17-9 overall and tied with Tech for third in the GLIAC standings. The two teams meet Friday. The Huskies are 15-13 overall and 10-5 in the GLIAC and will recognize seniors Aubrey Ficek and Rachel Pohlod before Saturday's season finale against LSSU.

Football hosts Findlay at 1 p.m. Saturday at Sherman Field in the final game of the 2016 season. Tickets are $25 for single game VIP admission, $14 for reserved seats, and $10 for general admission.

Volleyball tickets are $12 for reserved seats, $10 for adult general admission and $5 for youth. Tickets can be purchased at the SDC Ticket Office, over the phone at 906-487-2073 or online at BuyHuskiesTickets.com.
