Soccer to Host NCAA Selection Watch Party at Mine Shaft

HOUGHTON, MIch. – The Michigan Tech women's soccer team will host an NCAA Tournament Selection Show watch party at the Mine Shaft/Rock House Grille tomorrow. The selection show begins at 7 p.m. and will be shown on the TV inside the restaurant.

Michigan Tech was ranked No. 3 in last week's rankings before falling to the No. 2 team in the Midwest Region, Grand Valley State, in the GLIAC Tournament Semifinal on Friday (Nov. 7).

The Huskies are 11-4-2 overall and seeking the program's second NCAA Tournament berth. Tech was the No. 6 seed in the Midwest Regional a year ago.

Fans can join the team as the field for the NCAA Division II Women's Soccer Championship is announced. Michigan Tech players and coaches will be in attendance to learn if they've been selected for an at-large berth and if so, who and where they'll be playing.
