Three Huskies Earn All-GLIAC in Women's Soccer

BAY CITY, Mich. — Michigan Tech soccer student-athletes Jacqueline Mielke (Green Bay, Wis.) and Emily Morin (Barrington, Ill.) have been named to the All-GLIAC Second Team it was announced by the league today. In addition, Annie Dahlquist (Trenton, Mich.) has earned All-GLIAC Honorable Mention.

Mielke, a sophomore midfielder, has started all 16 games and leads the team in goals (nine) and points (21) on the season. She has scored three game-winning goals including a double-overtime tally vs. Walsh on Oct. 5.

Morin is a sophomore defender who has started all 16 games for the Huskies this season. She has helped the Huskies rank second in the GLIAC in goals against average, allowing fewer than one goal per game (.66).

Dahlquist is a fifth-year senior who has played in 71 career games. The midfielder has started all 16 games this season with one goal and one assist.

Michigan Tech (11-3-2) will continue its postseason tomorrow with a GLIAC Tournament Semifinal vs. Grand Valley State. The game is set to kickoff at 4 p.m. at Ohio Dominican's Panther Stadium.
