Team Black Holds Off Team Gold in 2019 Women’s Basketball Alumni Game
HOUGHTON, Mich. - The Michigan Tech women's basketball Alumni game was held on Saturday in the SDC Gym as part of the 2019 Tech Alumni Weekend. Team Black was able to hang on for a 44-36 victory over Team Gold.
Lynn Lynch ('12) guided Team Black with 13 points followed by Krista Solarek ('12) with 11 points. Lisa Hall ('11) and Lindsay Winter ('18) chipped in eight points apiece. Meanwhile for Team Gold, Paige Albi ('14) led all scorers with 16 points trailed by Allison Bottoms ('01) and Elisa Jurmu ('18) who each tacked on eight points.
