Women's Basketball Ranked No. 16 in Latest National Poll

LILBURN, Ga. — Michigan Tech is ranked No. 16 in the latest USA TODAY Sports/Women's Basketball Coaches Association Division II National Poll. The Huskies are 2-1 on the young season.

Tech split a pair of games at the Radisson Hotel Minneapolis St. Paul Classic last weekend, defeating Minnesota Crookston 85-62 and losing to Concordia-St. Paul 86-77.

The Huskies, who were ranked No. 8 in the preseason poll, and have been ranked in 14 consecutive WBCA Polls dating back to the first half of last season.

Three other teams from the Midwest Region appear in the poll including No. 2 Lewis, No. 8 Drury and No. 13 Ashland.

Michigan Tech will play at Minnesota State in Mankato, Minn., on Saturday (Nov. 28) to wrap up its regular season non-conference action for 2015-16.
