Huskies Earn USTFCCCA All-Academic Team Recognition
NEW ORLEANS, La. – The Michigan Tech men's and women's track & field teams both earned U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association postseason NCAA Division II team academic awards. The USTFCCCA officially announced the honors on Thursday.
The Tech women finished with a combined team GPA of 3.57, which was tied for fourth overall in the nation and tops in the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference. The men had a combined GPA of 3.30 and also paced the GLIAC in that category. In order for teams to be recognized for these awards, they needed to have a combined GPA above 3.0.
