HOUGHTON, Mich. – The regular season is nearing its end as the Michigan Tech Nordic Ski team travels to Rhinelander, Wisconsin for the final race of the 2019-2020 regular season at the CCSA Northwoods Nordic Invitational from the Cedric A. Vic Outdoor Center on Saturday (Feb. 1) and Sunday (Feb. 2).

Tech last skied on Sunday (Jan. 26) at the 2020 Gitchi Gami Games in Cable, Wisconsin, and Huskies Sarah Goble and Oda Hovland finished 1-2 in the 10K classic women's race, while Henriette Semb skied to a sixth-place finish to help the MTU women win the CCSA team title for the day. In the men's 10K classic race, Patrick Acton placed fourth while Josh Albrecht and Somer Schrock finished ninth and tenth, respectively.

From here on out, our races mirror the NCAA Championships format, so we're beginning to enter that mindset of the championship portion of our schedule," Tech head coach Tom Smith said.
