Thirteen Tech Skiers Named to USCSCA National All-Academic Team

DENVER – The United States Collegiate Ski Coaches Association announced the 2014 National Collegiate All-Academic Ski Team Wednesday (Feb. 26), which consists of 255 skiers from 30 schools. Michigan Tech had 13 Nordic skiers honored.

The honor is awarded to those skiers who participation in the three skiing conferences nationally which qualify its skiers to the NCAA Championships each season.  Honorees must compete in an NCAA Regional competition, and maintain a cumulative 3.5 grade point average in the classroom.  All skiers from their respective regions are automatically eligible to compete in an NCAA Regional competition.
