Exciting Promotions for Hockey Series Against Minnesota State

HOUGHTON, Mich. – Michigan Tech hosts Minnesota State this weekend in a matchup of last year's MacNaughton Cup winners. One lucky fan will have a chance to win a $50,000 truck from Keweenaw Chevrolet Friday. Saturday is Junior Hockey Night and Skate with the Huskies following the game.

Fans on Friday can receive a free raffle ticket, before they enter the arena, which will qualify them for the Keweenaw Chevrolet truck promotion. Promotion staff will be located outside all three arena entrances to hand out the raffle tickets. The winner of the raffle will be on the ice during second intermission to take a shot of a lifetime for a chance to drive away with a 2017 Chevy Silverado.

Youth are encouraged to register at the entrance near University Images on Saturday where the first 500 will receive a free goodie bag. Prizes will be awarded later during Skate with the Huskies with a chance to win a week of hockey school, a CCM hockey stick, an annual youth membership to the SDC, an individual Tech Ski Trails membership, a signed stick, signed puck, a CCM hat, and various other prizes.

University Images will also give anyone wearing a hockey jersey a free water bottle with any purchase of $10 or more while supplies last on Saturday.

Fans are also asked to bring their skates as everyone in attendance is invited on the ice after Saturday's game to skate with the current members of the hockey team and collect autographs.
