Michigan Tech Hockey Update with Coach Pearson

HOUGHTON, Mich. – Monday (August 1st) at 8:30 a.m. on WKMJ Mix 93.5 and Pasty.net, Michigan Tech hockey head coach Mel Pearson will be live giving an update on the state of the program.

Coach Pearson will discuss NHL development camps, latest on potential future conference realignments, recruits, and the upcoming season. Plus, coach will answer your questions. Email your questions for coach Pearson to dj@themix93.com.

The show will resume its normal schedule of every Monday at 10 a.m. in October.

The nationally ranked Huskies are once again expected to compete for a WCHA title in 2016-17 as they return 12 of their top-15 scorers and four players who took home All-WCHA honors last season. Michigan Tech's 52 victories over the past two years are the most of any WCHA school and the fourth best total in all of college hockey.

Fans looking to purchase season ticket packages can still do so at the SDC Central Ticket Office for $255. Each package includes one reserved seat at the John MacInnes Student Ice Arena for each of Tech's 14 regular season home games and the first round of the WCHA Playoffs. The Huskies open their 2016-17 season on the road against Minnesota Duluth October 1st and 2nd. The home opener is October 14th & 15th as Alabama Huntsville visits the John MacInnes Student Ice Arena.
