Special Edition of Mel Pearson Show to Air Monday

HOUGHTON, Mich. – A special edition of the Mel Pearson Show is set to air Monday (June 20th) at 8:30 a.m. on WKMJ Mix 93.5 and Pasty.net.

Michigan Tech head coach Mel Pearson will discuss NHL camps, recruits, Stanley Cup, and Ron Mason. Plus, coach will answer your questions. Email your questions for coach Pearson dj@themix93.com.

The show will resume its normal schedule of every Monday at 10 a.m. in October.

The nationally ranked Huskies are once again expected to compete for a WCHA title in 2016-17 as they return 12 of their top-15 scorers and four players who took home All-WCHA honors last season. Michigan Tech's 52 victories over the past two years are the most of any WCHA school and the fourth best total in all of college hockey.

Fans can purchase ticket packages for just $204 until July 1, a 20 percent discount off of standard season ticket pricing. Each package includes one reserved seat at the John MacInnes Student Ice Arena for each of Tech's 14 regular season home games and the first round of the WCHA Playoffs.
