Huskies Remain at No. 19 in USCHO Poll
HOUGHTON, Mich. – The Michigan Tech hockey team remained ranked No. 19 in the latest USCHO.com poll following a win and tie on the road at Michigan State last weekend (Nov. 21-22).
The Huskies and Spartans played back-to-back overtime games after Tech scored late in regulation to tie the game at 4-all each time. Tyler Heinonen scored in overtime on Saturday (Nov. 21) for the 5-4 victory. Sunday's (Nov. 22) game ended in a draw.
The Black and Gold (7-4-1 overall; 6-4-0 WCHA) have been ranked in 28 of the last 29 USCHO polls dating back to Oct. 27. 2014.
Michigan Tech travels to Fairbanks this weekend (Nov. 27-28) to take on WCHA foe Alaska in a two-game series. Both game will begin at 11:07 p.m. ET.
