Huskies Host Alabama Huntsville In WCHA First Round

HOUGHTON, Mich. – The No. 2 seeded Michigan Tech hockey team is hosting No. 7 Alabama Huntsville in a best-of-three WCHA First Round series on Friday, Saturday, and, if necessary, Sunday. The puck will drop at 7:07 p.m. each night from the John MacInnes Student Ice Arena.

Tickets are $17 for reserved adult seats and $5 for reserved youth seats. They can be purchased at the Central Ticket Office in the Student Development Complex, online at BuyHuskiesTickets.com or over the phone by calling 906-487-2073.

Michigan Tech Athletics is purchasing tickets for Tech students. The students can get their tickets at the Central Ticket Office. 100 seats in sections O and P will be reserved for the Experience Tech entrance on game nights. Students must have a valid Michigan Tech ID to pick up their ticket and to gain entrance into the game.

Tech last hosted a home playoff series during the 1992-93 season. The Huskies defeated St. Cloud State 3-1 and 6-5 to advance to the WCHA Final Five.
