Huskies Host Finlandia Wednesday in “Cash or Can” Game

HOUGHTON, Mich. – The Michigan Tech men's basketball team is scheduled to play Finlandia University Wednesday night at the SDC Gym beginning at 6 p.m. eastern time. Admission to the game will be a cash or canned goods donation to the Husky Food Access Network (Husky FAN).

Cash donations will be accepted at the SDC Ticket Office while can donations can be made at the doors. Tickets will cost $5 without a donation and can be purchased at the SDC Ticket Office as well.

Thank you for your generous donation to the Husky Food Access Network. Your kindness supports the 25% of Michigan Tech students, who reported not being able to afford food. The network provides multiple resources for the campus community, including: a campus food pantry, meal swipes, emergency food packets and educational programs. The Huskies are coming off two impressive Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference wins over Saginaw Valley State and Northwood this past Thursday and Saturday. Tech topped the Cardinals 79-57 followed by a 93-59 triumph over the Timberwolves. The Huskies are 6-2 overall, 2-0 in the GLIAC, and have won four in a row coming onto Wednesday's matchup with the Lions.

The Huskies return to GLIAC competition on Sunday when the host Northern Michigan University starting at 3 p.m. in the SDC Gym.
