Huskies mourn passing of Kenneth Chermak

HOUGHTON, Mich. – Former Michigan Tech football team captain Kenneth Chermak passed away Friday (Dec. 3) at his home surrounded by his loving family in Battle Lake, Minnesota. Chermak was 79.

Originally from Manitowoc, Wisconsin, Chermak lettered three seasons for the Huskies ('62,

'63, '64) and was an instrumental part of Michigan Tech's 1963 and 1965 Championship teams. 

While attending college, he received a degree in mechanical engineering, was a member of Kappa Delta Psi fraternity, and has remained an active alumnus for both the fraternity and the football program for many decades.
