Tech’s Bryan Thomas to Speak at MHSFCA Convention

LANSING, Mich. – Michigan Tech Co-Defensive Coordinator/Special Teams Coordinator Bryan Thomas will be speaking at the Michigan High School Football Coaches Association (MHSFCA) annual football clinic Thursday through Saturday in Lansing.

Thomas will be speaking on punt block and practice structure for special teams. The Michigan Tech special team's unit blocked six kicks this past season (punts/field goals/extra points), including a punt block for a touchdown in the season opener against Truman State.

"I'm excited to head down there to speak on something I am very passionate about," Thomas said. "It will also be an opportunity to stay in contact and interact with many high school coaches in our recruiting area."

There will be a number of coaches from high school, NCAA Division II, and NCAA Division I speaking on various topics in the game of football.
