Alumni Association Hosting Golf Outings in Green Bay and Grand Rapids

HOUGHTON, Mich. – Michigan Tech Athletics is partnering with the Michigan Tech Alumni Association for a pair of golf outings in May. The annual Green Bay Golf Outing is on May 21 at Mid Vallee Golf Course in De Pere, Wis., and the West Michigan Golf Outing is on May 31 at the Grand Rapids Country Club. All proceeds benefit Michigan Tech student-athletes.

The Green Bay Golf Outing begins at noon with dinner at about 5 p.m. It is a 3-4 person scramble. You can sign up with a team or individually. Cost is $75 for golf, dinner and a raffle ticket. To attend only the dinner and raffle costs $25.

In addition to 18-holes of beautiful golf, you will receive a full-course dinner and raffle ticket for exciting prizes. You can also meet some of the Huskies coaches. All golfers are also eligible to win prizes for longest drive, closest to the pin and a few more surprises.

The West Michigan Golf Outing shotgun start is at 9 a.m. and is $65. Prizes are awarded for the top two scrambling teams with special competitions for longest drive, closest to pin and longest putt. Included with registration are golf, a cart, prizes and a burger buffet lunch.
