HOCKEY
Michigan Tech swept St. Thomas in Minnesota. The Huskies won 6-2 Friday and 4-3 Saturday. Kyle Kukkonen had a pair of goals Friday, Ryland Mosley and Jack Works scored each night while David Jankowski, Jake Crespi, Trevor Russell, and Chris Lipe also found the back of the net. The Huskies never trailed on the weekend to improve to 8-3-2 overall and 4-2-2 in the CCHA. Tech hosts No. 8 Minnesota State this weekend at the John MacInnes Student Ice Arena. The puck drops at 7:07 p.m. Friday and 6:07 p.m. Saturday.

MEN'S BASKETBALL
Pete Calcaterra posted a career-high 16 points off the bench and Adam Hobson led the offense with 19 points in a 76-72 Michigan Tech win over Minnesota Crookston Friday. Tech plays four road games this week against Maryville Tuesday, Missouri-St. Louis Wednesday, Minnesota Duluth Saturday, and St. Cloud State Sunday.

WOMEN'S BASKETBALL
Tech went 2-1 against teams from the NSIC last week. The Huskies defeated Concordia-St. Paul 64-54 Tuesday, fell 81-69 at Southwest Minnesota State Thursday and defeated Minnesota Crookston 82-62 Saturday. Alex Rondorf (13.7), Ellie Mackay (12), Isabella Lenz (11), and Katelyn Meister (10.7) all averaged double figures over the three games. Tech hosts St. Cloud State Friday and Minnesota Duluth Saturday at the SDC Gym.

CROSS COUNTRY
The men's cross country team placed fourth and the women's squad was eighth at the NCAA Division II Midwest Regional meet Saturday. Drew Kolodge (8th), Clayton Sayen (11th), and Sam Lange (15th) had all-region finishes. Michelle Bollini (27th) and Sam Kurkowski (35th) led the women's team. The field for the NCAA Championships will be announced on Monday.
