HOCKEY
The No. 14-ranked Huskies took 4-of-6 CCHA points at Ferris State last weekend in their final road trip of the regular season. Tech won 3-2 in overtime Friday and tied 5-5 Saturday with a shootout win after overtime. Trenton Bliss had two goals Saturday, Michael Karow scored the game-winner Friday while Tristan Ashbrook, Alec Broetzman, Brian Halonen, Ryland Mosley, and Logan Pietila also scored. The Huskies are now 19-9-3 overall and 16-6-2 in the CCHA and host Minnesota State in the regular-season finale. Saturday will be Senior Day as Trenton Bliss, Tyrell Buckley, Alec Broetzman, Eric Gotz, Brian Halonen, Michael Karow, Justin Misiak, Tommy Parrottino, Mark Sinclair, and Colin Swoyer will be honored after the game.

MEN'S BASKETBALL
The Huskies extended their winning streak to nine games after a 77-71 win over Saginaw Valley State Thursday and an 82-57 victory over Wayne State Saturday at the SDC Gym. Owen White (19.5), Trent Bell (17.5), and Adam Hobson (10) averaged double figures on the weekend. Tech is 18-5 overall and 15-3 in the GLIAC and wraps up the regular season at Ferris State and Lake Superior State on Thursday and Saturday.

WOMEN'S BASKETBALL
Tech swept its final home weekend with a 65-54 win over Saginaw Valley State Thursday and a 72-69 overtime victory over Wayne State Saturday. Sara Dax (15.5), Ellie Mackay (13.5), Alex Rondorf (10.5), and Katelyn Meister (10) all averaged double figures. The Huskies are 14-9 overall and 9-6 in the GLIAC and travel to Saginaw Valley State Tuesday, Ferris State Thursday, and Lake Superior State Saturday to wrap up the regular season.

NORDIC SKIING
The Nordic ski teams combined to win the NCAA Central Region Championship on Sunday in Duluth. The women's team placed first, the men second, and the Huskies tied Northern Michigan for the combined team title. Nea Katajala (classic) and Henriette Semb (skate) were Individual Regional Champions and Tech had 15 All-Region performances with top 10 results. The Huskies now turn their focus to the NCAA Championships on March 9 and 11 at Soldier Hollow, Utah. Anabel Needham, Henriette Semb, Nea Katajala, Skylar Patten, Colin Freed, and Henry Snider will represent the Black and Gold.
