HOCKEY
No. 16 Michigan Tech dropped a pair of 2-1 games at the MacInnes Student Ice Arena. No. 17 Notre Dame won Friday in overtime and USNTDP won in an exhibition game Saturday. Ryland Mosley scored Friday and Brian Halonen found the back of the net Saturday. The Huskies host an intrasquad Black versus Gold game on Saturday at Dee Stadium. Game time is 4:30 p.m. with Skate With The Huskies after.

VOLLEYBALL
No. 25 Michigan Tech went 3-0 at Midwest Region Crossover to extend its winning streak to 10 games. The Huskies swept No. 16 Lewis and took down Missouri S&T 3-2 on Friday. Tech wrapped up the weekend with a sweep of No. 17 Hillsdale on Saturday. Olivia Ghormley set the school record for career kills and currently stands at 1,565. Anna Jonynas (3.64 k/s) and Ghormley 3.5 k/s) led the offense on the weekend. Laura De Marchi set the attack (11 a/s) while Carissa Beyer (5.17 d/s) and Morgan Radtke (1.33 b/s) anchored the defense. Tech is 14-4 overall and gets back to GLIAC play at Parkside Friday (7 p.m.) and Purdue Northwest Saturday (3 p.m.)

FOOTBALL
For the 11th straight season, Michigan Tech defeated Northern Michigan for the Miner's Cup 21-14 at the Superior Dome. Tied 14-14 late in the fourth quarter, Will Ark delivered an eight-yard strike to a wide-open Jordan Janssen on a slant down the right sideline, giving the Huskies the final lead with just 18 seconds to play and the victory. Janssen had a first quarter touchdown reception while Ark scored on a rush to the endzone in the fourth quarter to tie it up. John Paramski led the Huskies with 11 tackles and snatched an interception in the fourth quarter. Tech hosts No. 3 Ferris State this weekend at Kearly Stadium. Kickoff is set for 1 p.m.

SOCCER
The Huskies had a pair of shutout wins on the road for their second and third straight wins. Tech defeated Northwood 1-0 Friday and Davenport 1-0 Sunday. Grace Shaw scored both goals. Jesse Jacobusse earned an assist Friday and Brooke Schauer had the setup Sunday. Tech is 9-4 overall and 6-3 in the GLIAC and travels to No. 1 Grand Valley State Friday at 4 p.m. before hosting No. 9 Ferris State Sunday at noon at Kearly Stadium

CROSS COUNTRY
The Huskies begin their championship season at the GLIAC Championships this weekend on the campus of Saginaw Valley State. The women's race is at 11 a.m. with the men starting at 11:45 a.m.
