HOCKEY
Tech wraps up the regular season against Northern Michigan this weekend. The two teams will meet in Marquette at 7:07 p.m. Friday and at the John MacInnes Student Ice Arena at 6:07 p.m. Saturday on Senior Night. The Huskies are 18-14-3 overall and 13-11-2-0 in the WCHA. Tech's five seniors—Raymond Brice, Keegan Ford, Matt Jurusik, Todd Kiilunen, Alex Smith—will be honored on the ice after Saturday's game. They will also be recognized at the Blue Line Club Senior Salute Brunch on Sunday. Those interested in attending are asked to RSVP by noon on Wednesday, February 26 to blueline@mtu.edu. The cost is $15.

NORDIC SKIING
Tech finished second at the NCAA Central Region Championships over the weekend in Ishpeming. Sarah Goble was third both days and Amanda Kautzer was fifth in the skate. Reid Goble was third in the skate and fourth in the classic. With its strong performances, Michigan Tech will send its full men's and women's teams to compete at the 2020 NCAA Skiing National Championships in Bozeman, Montana on March 11-14.

MEN'S BASKETBALL
The Huskies swept their final weekend at the SDC Gym, defeating Davenport 73-63 Thursday and Grand Valley State 78-70 Saturday. Kyle Monroe had 41 points Saturday and 29 Thursday. Dawson Bilski scored 18 Saturday and Isaac Appleby had 16 Thursday. Tech improved to 19-8 overall and 13-6 in the GLIAC and clinched a home GLIAC Tournament Quarterfinal game. The Huskies wrap up the regular season at Northern Michigan on Thursday. Tipoff is at 5:30 p.m.

WOMEN'S BASKETBALL
Tech split its final home weekend with a 74-60 win over Davenport Thursday and 70-49 loss to No. 6 Grand Valley State Saturday. Ellie Mackay poured in 27 points Thursday. Abbie Botz was in double figures both games, averaging 12 points per game. Cassidy Trotter scored 15 points Saturday. The Huskies (10-16, 8-11 GLIAC) wrap up the regular season at Northern Michigan on Thursday. Tipoff is at 7:30 p.m.

WOMEN'S TENNIS
The Huskies fell 4-3 in their first competition of 2020. Dominika Bobik and Neva Manas had singles wins and Ivona Gorgioski / Jessica Brown and Dominika Bobik / Lauren Opalewski picked up victories in doubles. The Huskies will be back on the court at the Spring Tennis Fest in Hilton Head, South Carolina March 6-14 and will close the regular season at UW-Green Bay on April 11.

Big Brothers Big Sisters (BBBS) seeks to change the lives of children facing adversity - for the better, forever.
