Tech Basketball will Lend A Paw to Big Brothers Big Sisters Thursday
HOUGHTON, Mich. – The Michigan Tech men's and women's basketball programs are holding their Huskies Lend A Paw to Big Brothers Big Sisters-UP Kids games Thursday against Saginaw Valley State. The teams will wear warm-up T-shirts that will be auctioned off in support of BBBS.
Big Brothers Big Sisters-UP Kids seeks to change the lives of children facing adversity—for the better, forever. BBBS programs help children realize their full potential and build their futures by providing strong, enduring, professionally supported, one-to-one relationships.
During Thursday's warm-ups, each player will be wearing a special T-shirt, which is available for bidding on each teams Facebook page and in the SDC Gym. Bidding for each shirt begins at $20.
Visit the men's and women's basketball roster pages pick which player's T-shirt you would like to bid on. To place a bid, post a comment on the special Facebook post with the number of the player's shirt and the bid. Bidding sheets will also be available in the SDC Gym. Bidding will open on Tuesday (Dec. 3) at 3 p.m. and will close at the beginning of the second half of the men's game.
