BAY CITY, Mich. – A total of 43 Michigan Tech men's and women's spring sport student-athletes earned recognition from the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference for academics as the league announced its Spring Academic Excellence Awards and All-Academics Teams Thursday.

Criteria states the student-athlete must be an active member on the roster at the end of the season and not a freshman or first-year transfer student. Academic Excellence Teams are comprised of student-athletes that have a cumulative GPA of 3.5-4.0.
