SAAC Hosting Annual Shoe Drive For Charity

HOUGHTON, Mich. – The Michigan Tech Student Athletic Advisory Committee (SAAC) has coordinated a shoe drive beginning today (April 9) and will continue to run through April 27. All donated shoes will benefit the local Salvation Army in Hancock, Mich.

Prospective donors are asked to supply new or gently used shoes to the campaign. Collection bins will be at the Student Development Complex near the central ticket office and on campus inside the Admin Building near the elevators. You may drop off the items at any time during the building's hours of operation.

A mass collection will also take place during the spring football game at Sherman Field on April 21.
