HOCKEY
Hockey split its final series of the regular season against archrival No. 16 Northern Michigan. The Wildcats won 2-1 Friday in Marquette and the Huskies won 3-2 Saturday at the John MacInnes Student Ice Arena. Brent Baltus scored both nights. Jake Lucchini and Justin Misiak also scored Saturday as the Huskies scored three straight power play goals in the second period to take the lead. Devin Kero had 52 saves on the weekend, making his fourth and fifth straight starts. Tech finished the regular season with a 17-15-5 overall record and a 12-11-5-2 mark in the WCHA. The Huskies are the fifth seed in the WCHA Playoffs and will travel to No. 4 Bemidji State this weekend for a best-of-three series at the Sanford Center.

WOMEN'S BASKETBALL
The No. 17-ranked women's basketball team split its final weekend of the regular season to finish 23-4 overall and 17-3 in the GLIAC. The Huskies fell 71-69 to Wayne State Thursday at the SDC Gym before bouncing back with a 60-44 victory over Davenport Saturday. Kelli Guy scored her 1,000th career point Thursday with Brenna Heise hitting the milestone on Saturday. The Huskies secured the outright GLIAC North Division Title and locked in the second seed in the GLIAC Tournament. Tech hosts seventh-seeded Ferris State Wednesday. Other matchups are No. 8 Davenport at No. 1 Ashland, No. 6 Northern Michigan at No. 3 Grand Valley State, and No. 5 Northwood at No. 4 Wayne State.

MEN'S BASKETBALL
Men's basketball split its final weekend of the regular season. The Huskies defeated Wayne State 81-78 Thursday in overtime and fell 101-99 to Davenport in overtime Saturday. Tech matched an NCAA Division II record after playing in its fourth straight overtime game. Five of the last six contests have gone to an extra session. Kyle Monroe tied Ali Haidar's school record for points in a single season with 743 on Saturday. The Black and Gold finished the regular season 14-13 overall and 11-9 in the GLIAC, securing the No. 6 seed in the GLIAC Tournament. The Huskies will travel to third-seeded Wayne State for a GLIAC Quarterfinal game on Wednesday. No. 1 Ferris State hosts No. 8 Saginaw Valley State, No. 2 Lake Superior State hosts No. 7 Grand Valley State, and No. 4 Ashland hosts No. 5 Northern Michigan in other quarterfinal matchups.
