HOCKEY
Hockey split its final nonconference series of the season over the weekend at home. Arizona State won 2-1 in overtime on Friday and the Huskies bounced back with a 5-3 victory Saturday. Six different players scored the goals on the weekend with Jake Lucchini Friday and Mark Auk, Joel L'Esperance, Dylan Steman, Gavin Gould, and Dane Birks finding the back of the net Saturday. Goaltender Devin Kero had 21 saves Friday and 20 Saturday. Tech wraps up the regular season this weekend with a home-and-away series versus Northern Michigan. The two teams will meet in Marquette Friday with Saturday's finale taking place at the MacInnes Student Ice Arena. Evan Anderson, Mark Auk, Brent Baltus, Dane Birks, Mason Blacklock, Alex Gillies, Devin Kero, Joel L'Esperance, and Dylan Steman will be honored after the game on Senior Night.

WOMEN'S BASKETBALL
The No. 17-ranked women's basketball team swept its home weekend with an 80-63 win over Ferris State Thursday and a 75-65 victory over Lake Superior State Saturday. The Huskies improved to 22-3 overall and 16-2 in the GLIAC, winning the GLIAC North and securing the second seed in the GLIAC Tournament. Elizabeth Kelliher's double-double of 16 points and 11 rebounds led five Huskies in double figures Thursday. Hannah Stoll had a game-high 20 points Saturday to lead the Black and Gold. Tech hosts Wayne State Thursday and Davenport on Senior Day Saturday. Kelli Guy, Brenna Heise, Elisa Jurmu, Sarah LewAllen, Hanna Stoll, and Lindsay Winter will be recognized after Saturday's game.

MEN'S BASKETBALL
Men's basketball dropped a pair of overtime games to the GLIAC's top two games over the weekend at the SDC Gym. Kyle Monroe had a 35-point, 10-rebound double-double Thursday but the Huskies fell 89-84 to No. 4 Ferris State. Isaac Appleby (14), Bryan Heath (11), and Ryan Schuller (10) also hit double figures against the Bulldogs. Lake Superior State won 80-76 Saturday despite a 34-point, 10 rebound double-double by Monroe. Appleby had 11 points and 12 rebounds while AJ Grazulis added 13 points. Tech is 13-12 overall and 10-8 in the GLIAC and hosts Wayne State (Thursday) and Davenport (Saturday) to wrap-up the regular season. Seniors KC Borseth, Dillon Gordon, AJ Grazulis, and Tanner Uren will be recognized before the game on Senior Saturday.

NORDIC SKIING
The Nordic ski teams finished the regular season at the NCAA Regionals hosted by Northern Michigan. Saturday's events consisted of the 20-kilometer and 15K freestyle events and Sunday concluded with the 10K and 5K individual start classic races. Gaspard Cuenot and Reid Goble earned All-Region honors both days. Cuenot was sixth both days, while Goble was eighth in both events. Tom Bye led Tech in fifth in the freestyle for All-Region honors while David Jaszczak squeaked in for 10th and an All-Region award. Sarah Goble had All-Region finishes in the freestyle (8th) and classic (6th). Amanda Kautzer was All-Region in the freestyle, finishing 10th. Tech clinched three NCAA Championship qualification spots on the men's team with Gaspard Cuenot, Tom Bye, and Reid Goble. Both Sarah Goble and Amanda Kautzer will represent the women's team at NCAAs on March 8th and 10th in Steamboat Springs, Colorado.
