2017 Michigan Tech Sports Camp Registration Now Open

HOUGHTON, Mich. – Michigan Tech Athletics and Recreation has announced its schedule for 2017 youth sports camps, clinics and tournaments for the spring and summer and is now available for registration online. There are dozens of opportunities to learn hands on skills and techniques from Michigan Tech's experienced coaching staff.

The classes offered will include hockey, basketball, mountain biking, figure skating, soccer, volleyball, track & field and individual team camps. For more details regarding specific camps, clinics and tournaments for 2017 please click the link below.

2017 Sports Camps, Clinics & Tournaments 

All of the sport camps will be held at the Michigan Tech Student Development Complex (SDC) or on campus of the university.  Michigan Tech provides quality facilities – including but not limited to the 235,000-square-foot SDC, extensive running and biking trails, supervised residence halls and dining facilities. There are commuter and live-in options available. 

Beginning, experienced youth and pre-college athletes will have the opportunity to participate in events coordinated by Michigan Tech coaches and student-athletes which include:

  • Two time WCHA hockey coach of the year Mel Pearson
  • Coach Kevin Luke – the most winningest coach at Michigan Tech
  • 2011 & 2015 GLIAC and 2011 WBCA Midwest Region Coach of the Year – Kim Cameron
  • 2012 GLIAC women's soccer coach of the year Michelle Jacob
