Michigan Tech to Host TV6 Business Expo on May 12

HOUGHTON, Mich. – Michigan Tech Athletics and Recreation, in conjunction with the Keweenaw Chamber of Commerce, will host a TV6 Business Expo at the John MacInnes Student Ice Arena on Thursday, May 12, beginning at 5 p.m.

The event includes a free social with food, drinks and prizes, and will allow local businesses to discover potential advertising opportunities at Michigan Tech as well as TV6 and FOX UP.

"We are excited to once again partner with TV6 and the Keweenaw Chamber of Commerce to put on this event," said Suzanne Sanregret, Michigan Tech's Director of Athletics and Recreation. "Advertising partnerships have a great impact on our athletic programs and are mutually beneficial to our advertisers by gaining brand recognition at our athletic events."

In addition to advertising from Tech athletics' wide menu of options, businesses are also offered the chance to purchase season tickets to give to employees or customers.

Last year, nearly 80 local business owners and administrators attended the event. Those interested in attending are asked to register by clicking here.

Michigan Works will also be at the Student Development Complex that day to offer a workshop called "Economic Prosperity, Everyone Works!" starting at 4 p.m. in SDC Room 237.
