Mike Zuke
Inducted October 29, 1988

Mike Zuke was a wizard on the ice. If you are a non-believer, just look at the fact that in four seasons (1972-76) he scored 310 points on 133 goals and 177 assists. Those totals place him by far and away at the top of Michigan Tech's all-time charts in goals, assists, and points and he is currently third all-time in NCAA history in points scored.

Obviously his success on the ice brought him awards. Among his honors are, two-time All-America selection (1974, 1976), WCHA Freshman of the Year (1973), All-WCHA first team (1976), and WCHA Most Valuable Player (1976).

Zuke was also a member of the Varsity Club and Blue Key National Honor Society while attending MTU.

Following his graduation from Michigan Tech, Zuke went on to play minor league hockey for a year before making it to the National Hockey League. His professional career spanned eight seasons during which time he played for the Edmonton Oilers, St. Louis Blues, and Hartford Whalers.

Zuke has given his time making appearances for the United Way, the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, and the Y. M. C. A.
