Matt Trombley

Matt Trombley scored 1,327 points in his four-year Michigan Tech basketball career from 1991-95. 

The St. Clair Shores, Mich., native is one of only four players in school history to have been named GLIAC Player of the Year, which he earned in 1994-95. That season, Trombley averaged 23.8 points per game to lead the conference and help Tech to a third-place finish in the GLIAC. His 665-point senior season ranks as the sixth-highest season point total in school history. Trombley pulled down 414 career rebounds.

Trombley graduated in 1995 with a degree in mechanical engineering. He currently resides in St. Clair Shores where he serves as a math teacher at Henry Ford II High School and senior pastor at Life of Purpose Christian Church.
