Cmdr. Douglas F. Latimer

Douglas Latimer played for the Michigan Tech hockey team from 1931-36. He was a letterwinner each of his four years in a Husky uniform.
Latimer received several mentions to "All-Star" teams in his career and was the teams captain his final season (1935-36).
The Commander was also a boxer and in 1934 he was the Intramural welter-weight champion. Latimer was also a member of the Sigma Rho Fraternity and involved in the Varsity Club in which he was the treasurer (1935). Doug joined the MTU Huskies Club from its inception.
