Bio

Hope Zander was named the Event Operations Manager/Athletic Equipment Supervisor in September 2023.

In her role, Zander is responsible for the game management and staffing of events hosted by Michigan Tech Athletics and also the athletic equipment operation and staffing.

Zander began her Michigan Tech career as the Health and Wellness Coordinator in the Human Resources office. She previously was the Owner of Simple Nest Home Goods, the Operations Manager at Barkin' Mad Coffee, and a Fitness Coordinator at the Aspirus Fitness Center.

Zander holds a master's degree in sport management from Concordia University, St. Paul, and also earned a bachelor's degree in exercise science from CSP.
